Six children standing on a brick ledge outdoors, holding hands and raising their arms in celebration. A backpack is on the ground in front of them, and a building with a porch and a cloudy sky are in the background.

Our Kids. Our Voices.

About Whitney

A family of six standing on a wooden pier by a river during sunset, with a bridge in the background. The family includes two adults and four children, all smiling and holding hands.

I am a proud Arizona native, mom of three, wife to a police sergeant, and a product of public education. I am deeply committed to putting our kids first. My priorities include ensuring strong fiscal responsibility, enhancing safety on every campus, and positioning Gilbert Public Schools as the model district for education in Arizona.

With a father who served as a public high school superintendent, a mother who taught middle school, a brother who is a public school principal, and a sister-in-law who teaches at a GPS elementary school, education is something my family takes pride in. With my three children and three nephews currently attending Gilbert Public Schools, it’s clear that our roots here run deep. I’m running for Governing Board to make a meaningful, lasting difference in the lives of the youth in our community.

As the business services director for a local municipality, and a past member of the Gilbert Parks and Recreation Board, I am community-minded, committed to listening to Gilbert residents, and ready to put our children’s future first.

I am grateful to be part of the Gilbert community and look forward to serving the students, families, employees, and taxpayers of the Gilbert Unified School District.
